New I/O Products offer Diverse Solutions

XetaWave I/O solutions combine Ethernet and serial high speed, long range wireless communication with integrated I/O functionality. XetaWave has released a significant expansion and next generation of its I/O Products, including the Emancipator 2+ (EM2+) Superset and the Emancipator 2- (EM2-), along with 3 new software modules – Wire Replacement, PLC-BASIC Interpreter, and Data Concentrator.

The EM2+ Superset is a new, low cost board level I/O radio that provides support for low count analog input and digital input. The EM2+ is available in both the uTasker and Linux operating systems, offers easy configuration through USB, and includes all firmware capabilities provided through the XetaWave software defined (SD) platform including ModBus RTU, Modbus TCP, data concentrator, and more. The EM2- is an even lower cost option specifically designed for flame status monitoring or other applications that require low power and a single input – accessible through ModbusRTU.

XetaWave I/O is ideally suited for process control to securely and wirelessly monitor temperature, pressure, level and flow, and control pumps, latches, valves and more.

Low Cost, Drop-In Replacement for MDS & FreeWave Legacy Radios

When an existing network is due for a system upgrade, how you approach that can make a big difference to your operations. Elevate Wireless can assist in minimizing disruption to communications, while moving you towards a faster, more flexible Ethernet system.

The X710 mode enables XetaWave 900 MHz and 400 MHz radios to be dropped into MDS 9710 and 4710 networks with no disruption to the operation of your network.

The XetaWave X710 software emulates the currently deployed MDS protocols for either serial only, or both Ethernet and serial, with support for I/O as well. Your network can be upgraded in the future with full XetaWave capabilities and combined Ethernet/Serial I/O traffic.

XetaWave developed the Xeta9-INS, which allows you to co-locate a XetaWave master with a legacy (FreeWave) master using the same antenna with no self-interference, such that you can selectively upgrade your legacy radios to the Xeta9x with no interruption to your network. XetaWave EP’s can be installed “plug and play” to co-exist alongside legacy FreeWave DGR/FGR/FGR2/FGR2-PE/HTPlus radios on the same network.

Our highly experienced team at Elevate Wireless can assist not only with hardware acquisition, but also path evaluations and on-site commissioning. For more information, contact us today,

XetaPAK – An Advanced Smart Battery

XetaWave has released the XetaPAK, an advanced, long lasting smart battery that represents an entirely new approach to batteries used in remote telemetry sites. As a drop-in replacement for 12 AH, 24 AH and 100 AH lead acid batteries, the XetaPAK is lighter, longer lasting, higher capacity and offers monitoring capabilities not available with traditional lead acid batteries. Instead of being just a battery, the XetaPAK adds a MPPT (maximum power point tracking) solar panel controller, load current limiter, low voltage shutdown, battery temperature management and data logging through Modbus all in one insulated package. The XetaPAK offers unsurpassed reliability, is invulnerable to abuse and has a very long life. By contrast, today’s typical lead acid battery offers no ability for monitoring and needs to be replaced on a regular basis, sometimes as frequently as annually, requiring the costly deployment of field resources and the cost of repeated purchases.

The XetaPAK is available in three versions – XetaPAK15 offers 15 amp hours (AH), XetaPAK30 35 AH, and the XetaPAK135 135 AH.
